Super Weird Stems / Subscription Service
Back on 1st April 2015, Greg Wilson took a ‘fool’s leap’ and set up Super Weird Substance as an official record label. Born out of 2014’s uplifting and vital mixtape ‘Blind Arcade Meets Super Weird Substance In The Morphogenetic Field’ the label followed up with eight vinyl singles between June and October, followed by a CD compilation. Working with Kermit Leveridge, The Reynolds twins, Luxxury and a whole host of musicians, vocalists and producers, Super Weird Substance laid out its balearicpsychedelicdubdisco sound over these eight singles.
Five years on, the world is in a very different place. People now find themselves with a lot more time on their hands as they’re forced to slow down. With this in mind, we’ve decided to release the stems for these first eight singles as a Bandcamp subscriber exclusive. All the support we’ve received over the past few months has been heartening and essential, allowing us to stay creative. With this subscription we hope to further reward fans for their continued support.
