Josh Ray is a DJ and journalist who runs Super Weird Substance. He’s known for his Fire House project, Bido Lito! guest mixes and his more recent Sirius Sounds show for IWFM Radio, which includes the monthly Esoteric Discotheque series.

Norman Killon
Norman Killon is a DJ with a long history in Liverpool. Beginning at the Sink Club (now The Magnet) in the sixties and moving to Eric’s the next decade, he placed himself right in the midst of the Merseyside music scene and he continues to DJ to this day.

Pete Fowler & Dom Mandrell are illustrators and artists who’ve contributed much to Super Weird Substance, responsible for the Hooded Mandrill and Hooded Man respectively. Both of them turn their hands to DJing as well so have decided to go B2B at our Happening.

Derek Kaye
Derek Kaye has been DJing uninterrupted for over 40 years. Starting out on his home-made mobile disco unit, which he later sold to Greg Wilson. Over the years Derek Kaye has lived through the transition from announcing records to mixing and been involved in scenes from disco to house to trance to re-edits.

Peza
Peza has been making music since the ’90s with many prominent labels plus live shows and has currently found form in the re-edit movement with a prolific work rate. More recently he’s collaborated with Greg Wilson on his Super Weird Substance tracks, both programming and remixing.

Brothers Tom & Jamie Grashion deliver their unique blend of blues-rock meets post-dubstep electronica with their Space Blaster project. Jamie works as an engineer for Youth, soaking up the technique and wisdom of a master at work.

Richard Norris is a London-based record producer, sound engineer and musician, best known as a member of The Grid in the 1990s. He’s continued to make music since then, working with everyone from Joe Strummer to Erol Alkan. He DJs at annually at summer festivals including Glastonbury.
