Super Weird Substance has eight records lined up for release this summer. Each release will be available digitally and on a limited run of vinyl, whilst you’ll also be able to pick up a 12″ box set containing SWS001-004, with enough room for the following four.

The initial feedback has been incredible – from dancers and DJs alike. You can listen to the club mixes from the releases beneath.

SWS001: Greg Wilson Feat. The Reynolds – Summer Came My Way

Released 22nd June 2015

Gorgeous. Makes me want to take the first flight to Ibiza and lie in a hammock for a month.
~ Iesytn George

Definitely will be able to use the Luxxury mix of the first release, really nice vocal track, like it a lot.
~ Bill Brewster

SWS002: Sweet Tooth T – She Can’t Love You

Released 6th July 2015

Such an awesome groove. Will get any dance floor movin’.
~ Late Nite Tuff Guy

I loved the re-version of She Can’t Love You, played it out a few times, it’s great.
~ Tom Findlay (Groove Armada)

SWS003: Kermit Leveridge & The Super Weird Society – I Wanna Be Your Dog

Released 17th July 2015

The original is an all time classic of course, but this adds something very different to the mix and accelerates it into that post-punk and then baggy environment. Can see crowds really going mental to that especially at festivals.
~ Dicky Trisco

I think the cover of I Wanna be Your Dog is really brave and really well executed. I’ve played this a couple of times as well, and it works brilliantly with a younger crowd who maybe aren’t as hung up on the original.
~ Balaeric Mike

SWS004: The Reverend Cleve Freckleton & The Sinners – World Gone Crazy

Released 31st July 2015

Loving that World Gone Crazy.
~ Norman Cook

Really good work. The best for me – for my DJ set now – is World Gone Crazy!
~ Daniele Baldelli

SWS005: The Reynolds Don’t You Worry Baby The Best Is Yet To Come

Released 14th August 2015

Not a bad effort for a white boy. A song that is very dear to my heart from a golden time!
~ Colin Curtis

Wow… loving this! ‘Don´t You Worry Baby’ club mix is a fucking monster…
~ Rayko (Spain)

SWS006: Blind Arcade – Give It Away

 Released 18th September 2015

Blind Arcade’s ‘Give It Away’ club dub is my favourite there, nice dubbed vocals and dig the horn riff. Smooth outdoor kinda vibes!
~ Mark Farina (Chicago)

‘Give It Away’ was one of the standouts from the mixtape last year so great to have a playable copy.
~ Andy Wilson (Sonic Radio, Ibiza)

SWS007: Sweet Tooth T – Cowboys & Gangsters

 Released 23rd September 2015

Funk funky! Great production too.
~ Severino (Horse Meat Disco)

Love the relentless groove of Sweet Tooth T ‘Cowboys And Gangsters’ instrumental mix, once those horns drop in is it’s hands up and pants down time, absolutely superb stuff.
~ David Mangier (House Of Disco)

SWS008: Kermit Leveridge & The Super Weird Society – This Is The Last Time You’ll See Me Here

 Released 6th November 2015

Really like the proper dub version vibes on Kermit’s release.
~ Dicky Trisco

I’m digging the Blind Arcade club dub and Kermit’s ‘This Is The Last Time’ club mix.
~ Harri (Sub Club, Glasgow)
